VCU: Do you see me or do you see your fears?
With the unfortunate events taking place at Oklahoma University and the University of Virginia Dorado Quick, Pastor Vernon Gordon, Attala Shabazz (student) and VCU’ Police worked with a diverse group of concerned students on finding proactive way’s to create a safe campus. Students were all given Perceived Threat shirts.

Perceived Threat founder Dorado Quick delivered a keynote speech on being conscious of unconscious bias as it pertains to struggle of African American male students. He also spoke on the panel of “Lifting while you climb” the importance mentoring and preparing youth academically, socially, and culturally. All students and participants were given Perceived Threat shirts.
